Carolyn Leigh, lyricist, was born 21 August 1926 in New York. She wrote lyrics for the Broadway shows PETER PAN, WILDCAT, HOW NOW DOW JONES, and LITTLE ME and for a tribute to labor commissioned by the U.S. Dept. of Labor, SOMETHING TO DO. She also wrote for television and numerous popular songs including "Young at Heart" and "Firefly".
